According to Yang Xiaoku, president of Qinghai Electric Power Research Institute, the factory test of transformer can timely find out whether there are defects in the material, process defects, degree and location of the internal insulation of the transformer, and take targeted measures to prevent the occurrence of transformer failure, which is an important "physical examination" index to ensure that the new transformer is qualified to leave the factory. Previously, our domestic 750 kV and below transformer factory test was completed in the transformer manufacturer, in Qinghai high altitude and high voltage laboratory high voltage test hall to complete all 750 kV transformer factory test, which is the first time in China, for the State Grid Qinghai Provincial Electric Power Company to change the way of thinking, innovative management, to achieve the laboratory market open operation has taken an important step.
